Improving global health requires global collaboration

At Malaria Consortium, we believe health is the foundation of opportunity. When families are protected from preventable diseases, children can attend school, adults can work, and communities can thrive.

Our teams are driven by a shared commitment to public health, and our collaborative efforts are making a real difference to people with limited access to essential healthcare across Africa and Asia.

Alongside governments, communities, and partners, we are working to protect families, children, and vulnerable populations from malaria and other preventable diseases as part of a collective mission to reduce health inequities and strengthen systems that deliver lasting impact.

World Malaria Day

Malaria is preventable. Access to healthcare is part of the solution.

You can help deliver prevention and treatment directly to the communities who need it most.

In 2024, our dedicated teams on the ground in the 14 countries where we operate:

  • Provided over 22.5 million children with preventive malaria medicine through our seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) programme.
  • Distributed over 7 million long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs)
  • Trained more than 37,000 health workers in effective disease case management.

These accomplishments have significantly helped protect some of the most vulnerable populations, particularly young children and pregnant women, from life-threatening diseases. However, we cannot achieve this alone!

Achieving this vision requires collaboration. That’s why we work closely with governments, health ministries, civil society, the public and private sector and philanthropists to deliver long-term, evidence-based programmes and to reach as many people as possible with life-saving interventions.

Our supporters contribute by donating or advocating for our work within their communities. With over 20 years of field-tested expertise, a comprehensive network in the global health sphere, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to maximising every pound donated — we strive to make a meaningful difference.

By partnering with us, your company can play a vital role in advancing health equity and driving sustainable, life-changing impact — for individuals, families and entire communities.

Together, we address the root causes of poor health and improve access to quality healthcare for the most underserved communities.

A £10,000 donation could train 570 community distributors to deliver preventative malaria medicine to young children in their local area.
