Our impact is tangible, scalable and sustainable

Your generous donations will enable us to deliver life-saving, evidence-based malaria and infectious disease interventions for millions of children and adults at risk. By improving health outcomes, we also help reduce healthcare costs, allowing children to stay in school and individuals to maintain their jobs without the fear of financial strain.

We are grateful for every donation. Support that allows us to decide where funds are most needed - unrestricted - makes the biggest difference, helping us stay agile and responsive as challenges and priorities shift. This flexibility ensures we can direct resources to the greatest needs and maximise our impact.

World Malaria Day

Malaria is preventable. Access to healthcare is part of the solution.

You can help deliver prevention and treatment directly to the communities who need it most.

Severe flooding in South Sudan e

In 2024, severe flooding in Nigeria, South Sudan, and Chad disrupted health services and displaced families, threatening access to seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC). Malaria Consortium quickly adapted — storing medicines in safe locations ahead of time, registering displaced children, and using fixed sites and boats to reach affected communities.

These efforts maintained SMC coverage and showed the power of planning, flexibility, and strong partnerships. As extreme weather becomes more common, we remain committed to protecting vulnerable children with effective, climate-resilient solutions.

£5,000 could train 285 community distributors to deliver preventative malaria medicine to young children in their local area.
