Welcome to the Malaria Consortium Careers page.

We are committed to creating an inclusive and collaborative workplace where every team member plays a vital role in our mission. We take pride in our strong partnerships with donors, local and regional offices, ministries of health, and — most importantly — the communities and health workers who work alongside us.

Together, we are committed to improving health and saving lives in communities affected by malaria and associated health inequities.

Team UK

Values and culture

At Malaria Consortium, all of our work is informed by our core values: accountability, integrity, respect and equity

Our history is rich, our impact deep and our mission clear: to save lives by tackling disease and strengthening health systems across Africa and Asia. For over 22 years, we’ve worked at the heart of communities, specialising in the prevention, control and treatment of malaria and other communicable diseases.

Our reach is global, but our focus is local; we partner with governments, shape policy and deliver evidence-based interventions that save lives. With teams in over 13 countries, our diversity is our strength, it gives us a broad perspective, rooted local knowledge.

We are a community of committed people, and we take our work seriously and our culture just as much. At Malaria Consortium we believe that no one has a monopoly on good ideas and that every voice matters. We support one another, celebrate collaboration and create spaces where people feel they truly belong.

But, we are not standing still. For us, culture is a journey. As we pursue our mission, we are constantly learning, growing and evolving. Our core values of accountability, equity, respect and integrity guide how we make decisions and interact with one another.

Diversity and inclusion

At Malaria Consortium, equity is one of the cornerstones in our vision of a world free of malaria, where equitable access to healthcare empowers people and enables communities to thrive.

We strive to build a safe and inclusive workplace in which individuals feel they belong and are treated and fairly, respectfully given equal access to opportunities to use their full potential. We embrace diversity, honouring differences in people, perspectives and experiences, and appreciating the added value this brings to our work. We are inclusive in our engagement with communities as equal partners in creating the most effective and appropriate solutions. Together we make sustainable impact.

By focusing on our purpose and ensuring we put communities' needs at the heart of everything we do, our people will each play their part in shaping an organisational culture underpinned by values, research, professional standards and integrity. In this way, we are building an organisation that we can all be proud of.

We are an equal opportunities employer, and we encourage applications from everyone regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
