Partnership for Containment of Artemisinin Resistance and Moving towards the Elimination of Plasmodium in Thailand
This project, which was funded by the Global Fund to Fight Aids, TB and Malaria under funding round 10, supported efforts to eliminate Plasmodium falciparum malaria parasites in Thailand and contributed to the targets of the Global Malaria Action Plan. Malaria Consortium worked closely with the Thai National Malaria Control Programme at the national and provincial levels, as well as with NGOs serving refugee camps along Thai-Myanmar border, to manage artemisinin resistance and work towards malaria elimination in the country.
