Supporting Uganda's malaria reduction and elimination strategy II (SUMRES II)
Published:
Resources: Project brief
Malaria Consortium is implementing a series of interventions to reduce malaria cases and deaths in the Lango and Acholi sub-regions of Uganda, where malaria prevalence is high and the health system faces frequent challenges.
Through SUMRES II, Malaria Consortium will be implementing integrated community case management (iCCM), strengthening the capacity of private health facilities to provide quality malaria care and collect data, improving surveillance and health systems, and creating demand for services among communities through social and behaviour change communication. SUMRES II builds on the gains made during the previous project cycle, SUMRES (2021–2023).
