With Mastercard Foundation, we are developing the capacity of frontline health workers to tackle COVID-19 while providing community case management services.
In Ugdanda, frontline health workers (FLHWs) play a critical role in managing infectious diseases, many of which are endemic in the country. The COVID-19 outbreak has made this work even more challenging. This project, in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, aims to develop the capacity of FLHWs to diagnose and treat cases of COVID-19 while continuing to provide community case management services safely, accurately and with the right tools and support.
