This report presents the findings of a baseline study that sought to understand health providers’ and community members’ knowledge, attitudes, practices and behaviours in relation to malaria control. The study was conducted in the mid-north and Karamoja regions of Uganda as a sub-component of a broader baseline for the Strengthening Uganda’s Response to Malaria project. The findings provided key contextual information to inform project planning and the development of an effective communications strategy.
