The South-South exchange model fosters collaborative learning and strengthens global networks to accelerate progress toward malaria elimination.

The South-South exchange is a capacity strengthening programme that focuses on malaria-endemic African countries seeking to integrate malaria elimination components into their programmes. The two main objectives of the exchange were to share good practices through field observations and to develop country priorities based on lessons from Cambodia's malaria elimination activities.
