Regional collaboration is key to achieving malaria elimination goals. Success is nurtured through regional platforms, sharing information, mutual incentivisation, inter-country support and collective strength in seeking international funding.

Highlighting some examples that demonstrate why collaboration is essential for successful malaria elimination, this presentation explains the roles of the Asia-Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance and the Asia-Pacific Malaria Elimination Network in progress towards elimination goals in the region.

This presentation was given at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, held on 9-13 November in Toronto, Canada.
