This special report is published by the All-Party Parliamentary Group and co-authored by Malaria Consortium. It highlights the growing threat of resistance to artemisinin combination therapies — currently the most effective malaria drug — and discusses solutions to tackling drug resistance. The report also suggests that the ultimate way to ensure that resistance will not spread is by effectively eliminating malaria from the region.
