ACCESS-SMC Impact: Three years of SMC in the Sahel

December 2, 2016 marked the last implementation day of ACCESS-SMC, a three year UNITAID funded project led by Malaria Consortium in partnership with Catholic Relief Services. With support from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Management Sciences for Health, Medicines for Malaria Venture, and Speak up Africa, the impact seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) has had in the Sahel region of Sub-Saharan Africa has proven its feasibility, safety and effectiveness. This infographic examines the impact of SMC in the Sahel since ACCESS-SMC began in 2014.
