This poster is one of a series of presentations for the 62nd ASTMH Annual Meeting. It presents an evaluation of the third generation of a new inexpensive and heat-stable point-of-care diagnostic for screening G6PD deficiency (CareStart G6PD kit), which aims to assess the sensitivity and specificity of this new G6PD screening tests under field conditions when compared to the gold standard (quantitative assay) and the fluorescent spot test (qualitative assay).
