PMC-Effect study: Data management, reporting and results from the first year of perennial malaria chemoprevention implementation in Osun state, Nigeria

Results from the first year of perennial malaria chemoprevention implementation in Osun state, Nigeria demonstrate the uptake of scheduled and unscheduled doses of sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine for malaria prevention in young children.

The Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention (PMC) Effect study, implemented by Malaria Consortium in Nigeria, has been designed to provide evidence on the impact of PMC on malaria burden and related clinical outcomes, as well as its operational feasibility. Data management, reporting and year 1 results are described.
