With the National Malaria Control Division, we conducted an SMC implementation study in two districts of Karamoja to assess its suitability amongst nomadic pastoralists.
The National Malaria Control Division and Malaria Consortium conducted a seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) implementation study in two districts of Karamoja to assess its suitability amongst the nomadic pastoralist population. The intervention was accepted by the community, perceiving SMC as highly relevant.
This presentation was presented at the 71st annual meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
