Malaria Consortium is supporting health sector stakeholders in Kano state, Nigeria, to strengthen evidence-based local government area planning for malaria elimination.
Making progress towards malaria elimination in Nigeria requires an approach that responds to the considerable subnational variability of malaria by targeting available resources for the greatest impact. This project is supporting subnational tailoring of malaria programmes at local government and state levels through strengthened evidence-based and data-informed planning and coordination.
