Malaria surveillance system performance in Mozambique: A comprehensive assessment

Despite recent reductions in morbidity and mortality, malaria remains the largest public health problem in Mozambique, accounting for 29 percent of all hospital deaths and 42 percent of deaths among children under five. This brief summarises findings from a comprehensive country-wide assessment of the malaria surveillance system's performance.
