Malaria Consortium is working with the Ethiopian government to reduce malaria morbidity and mortality by 50 percent in districts of South Ethiopia most affected by a surge in malaria cases.

Malaria Consortium is implementing a series of measures in response to the malaria outbreak affecting the country, including community engagement, social and behaviour change communication (SBCC), integrated malaria surveillance, epidemic detection and response, and advocacy.
