Resources: Capacity statement
Malaria Consortium is a leading technical research and implementation organisation in Uganda, working closely with the Ministry of Health at national and sub-national levels to support malaria prevention and control, and the management of childhood diseases.
Our research plays a crucial role in informing policy and practice and shaping national health strategies. This includes pioneering work in integrated community case management and community engagement, with emphasis on social and behaviour change. Additionally, we have supported the Ministry in testing and scaling new interventions, including seasonal malaria chemoprevention and malaria vaccines, while enhancing data collection through mobile health (mHealth) initiatives.
