Malaria Consortium is committed to reducing the burden of malaria and other communicable diseases in Mozambique, especially those affecting children under five.
Since establishing our Maputo office in 2005, we have been working closely with state and regional governments, affected communities and partner organisations to strengthen health systems. We have active projects in most parts of the country, ranging from molecular malaria surveillance and implementation of seasonal malaria chemoprevention to developing a mobile health application for community health workers.
