Harnessing data to strengthen malaria chemoprevention in Africa

Malaria Consortium and the Worldwide Antimalarial Resistance Network are co-developing an open-science data platform and patient data repository to monitor and optimise malaria chemoprevention interventions.
We will be developing this tool with experts from malaria-endemic countries to pool, harmonise and share anonymised individual patient data from seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) studies across Africa. This will enable researchers to generate evidence and optimise chemoprevention strategies.
