Resources: Project brief
Malaria Consortium and 3ie are collaborating to create a comprehensive resource that will facilitate evidence-informed decision-making for policy, programme design and research funding.
Understanding the current evidence landscape and systematically identifying priorities and knowledge gaps is critical for maximising research investments, ensuring that future research addresses unmet needs, and informing policy and programmatic decision-making. The Evidence Gap Mapping for SMC project is a 12-month initiative to develop an interactive ‘evidence gap map’ focused on SMC. Unlike traditional systematic reviews, evidence gap maps provide a landscape view of where evidence is strong, where important gaps remain, and where future research and investment may be most valuable. The project brief details the project's objectives and activities, as well as its anticipated outcomes and impact.
