Advancing local decisions in Uganda

Resources: Project brief
Malaria Consortium is implementing a suite of interventions to sustainably strengthen the quality of malaria data reporting in Kotido and Oyam districts, northern Uganda.
Barriers to quality surveillance include variable testing rates, inaccurate or delayed reporting of data, and aggregating data at a level that does not support local decision-making and response. Working in partnership with the Ministry of Health, we aim to develop a data quality assurance and decision-making model to enhance the use of routine malaria data at local levels in a way that is both sustainable and impactful.
