Advancing local decisions in Mozambique

Resources: Project brief
Malaria Consortium is evaluating the longer term impact of a surveillance strengthening project that ran between 2019 and 2022 and tailoring interventions to address identified challenges, meet local needs and work within resource constraints.
The Local Decisions – MZ project is being delivered by Malaria Consortium in coordination with Mozambique’s NMCP. Results from the evaluation phase of this project, coupled with lessons learnt and tools developed during a 2019–2022 surveillance-strengthening project, will inform the development of a tailored package of interventions. By focusing on the sustainability of data quality assurance and decision-making with national ownership in mind, we aim to enhance the use of quality routine malaria data at local levels in Mozambique.
