ACCESS-SMC's impact in the fight against malaria has led to seasonal malaria chemoprevention becoming a key intervention in eligible countries' national malaria control strategic plans. Preparation for the 2017 campaign has begun to ensure continued high coverage as donors, governments, pharmaceutical companies and development partners keep working towards reaching all 25 million children.
