The Uganda Stop Malaria Project

The Stop Malaria Project was designed to assist the Government of Uganda to reach its goal of reducing malaria-related mortality and morbidity by 70 percent by 2015 and contribute to the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals. Malaria Consortium was working in partnership with the Uganda Ministry of Health, Maternal and Child Health Division, and the National Malaria Control Programme. Project partners included Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, Infectious Diseases Institute, Communication for Development Foundation Uganda, Uganda Health Marketing Group.
