Pneumonia diagnostics dissemination workshop held in Ethiopia

Malaria Consortium hosted a dissemination workshop on our pneumonia diagnostics work in sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, which seeks to identify the most accurate and user-friendly tools for diagnosing pneumonia symptoms in children across four low-income countries. The workshop, which took place on February 26 in Hawassa, Ethiopia, shared preliminary findings around device accuracy and field evaluation, including discussions on how these findings may be used. Forty participants attended the event, including representatives of the Southern Nations, Nationalities and People’s Regional Health Bureau, district health teams, UNICEF, Save the Children, and the World Health Organization.
