Silvia Amrein
Silvia brings over 30 years of experience in financial controlling within global organisations, with a particular focus on financial services. She holds a Master Professional HFP in Accounting and has completed the IMD Board Readiness Diploma. Silvia is also a member of the IMD alumni community.
She spent more than 20 years with UBS (Swiss Bank) as a Managing Director, leading large global teams and overseeing Group Cost Accounting, Global Back Office Controlling and Reporting, as well as various global transformation initiatives focused on technology, cost efficiencies and workforce strategies.
Silvia has worked in Zürich, Dresden, New York and several cities in India, including Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune. She currently serves as an advisor to boards of directors in Switzerland.
In addition, Silvia is the founder of the Reach for the Stars Foundation, which supports underprivileged communities in India and Switzerland. She divides her time between Zürich and Dubai.
