Jana Armstrong
Jana Armstrong is an independent consultant based in Geneva with over 25 years' experience in global health and humanitarian sectors. She has held leadership, advisory or governance roles with the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi), Médecins Sans Frontières, WHO, Global Health Technologies Coalition, and Medicines Patent Pool, among others.
Jana specialises in strategic partnerships, resource mobilisation, governance and advocacy with a particular focus on multi-stakeholder initiatives. She served four years as Treasurer for Medecins sans Frontieres Switzerland, is currently on the Board of Directors of Medecins sans Frontieres Korea and Australia, and is president of æqua, an association promoting equitable access to research and development of medical innovation.
She brings to the Malaria Consortium board expertise in INGO governance, global health strategy and strengthening partnerships to advance equitable access to health interventions and innovations.
