To supplement existing malaria control activities in Nigeria, this project will work in Niger and Kebbi states to scale up and expand integrated case management of malaria, pneumonia and diarrhoea. To achieve this goal, the project will hinge on four key strategies: (1) increase access to integrated community case management (iCCM) services and commodities, (2) improve performance of community-owned resource persons (CORPs), (3) strengthen links between iCCM services and communities to increase demand, and (4) strengthen federal and state Ministry of Health capacity to support and sustain iCCM scale-up.
