Improving Vitamin A Coverage through integration with Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention delivery: An Implementation Research in rural and urban settings in Nigeria

This study aims to provide additional evidence to support policy makers’ decision-making regarding full integration of VAS with SMC campaigns at scale and in diverse settings. The objectives are to design and implement in collaboration with key stakeholders, an integrated SMC plus VAS campaign at scale and in diverse settings in Bauchi state; assess the feasibility and acceptability of integration among caregivers, field implementers, and policy makers; develop and implement a research uptake plan; and provide policy makers with evidence to inform decision-making about integrating SMC and VAS in Nigeria.
