Niger State Wraparound Technical Assistance for CHIPS Program

Funded by the Gates Foundation, the four year (2018-2022) technical assistance to CHIPS programme aims at supporting improvement access and quality of PHC at the community level in Niger State. The core component of this programme is the training, deployment and support to volunteer community health workers to offer basic health services and referral on maternal and child health at the community level. The desired results are to strengthen capacity of the state to manage and oversee community health intervention; support state led delivery of services, and to generate evidence from implementation.
