Charles Nelson has more than 30 years of experience in health systems and international business leadership, with a focus on healthcare systems and organisations. He was Malaria Consortium’s Chief Executive for almost a decade taking leadership in 2013 and stepping down at the end of 2022. A scientist by training, he began his career with 14 years in operations and logistics with, among others, L’Oreal, GlaxoSmithKline, Northern Foods and Nabisco, including the manufacturing and distribution of medical and food products.
