Malaria is still the greatest public health challenge in Uganda. The Ministry of Health and partners continue to focus on reducing malaria morbidity and mortality, with the aim of eliminating malaria by 2030.
In 2017, Malaria Consortium supported a mass campaign to distribute 28 million long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) in every household across the country, an approach known as universal coverage.
