Dengue is one of the fastest growing infectious diseases in the world, with a huge impact on individuals, households, health systems and national economies. Over half the world’s population is now at risk. Despite this, dengue has not received the focus and funding that many other diseases have in recent years. This report focuses on what needs to be done to halt the spread of dengue and the burden of the disease. It highlights the approaches Malaria Consortium has taken to controlling and reducing the impact of dengue.
