This is a practical guide to planning, implementing and evaluating a sustainable seasonal malaria chemoprevention programme in northern Nigeria, targeting the Nigeria National and State Malaria Elimination Programmes, implementing partners and other stakeholders. It describes the processes, procedures, activities and milestones for each implementation phase and contains suggested programme tools, checklists and templates.
The start-up guide was developed by Malaria Consortium with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, in partnership with the Nigeria National Malaria Elimination Programme and Katsina State Malaria Control Programme.
