Universal health coverage and malaria, neglected tropical diseases and child health

Publication Date:
09/12/2015
Type:
Advocacy brief

Universal health coverage (UHC) is central to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3 and realising “healthy lives for all”. This advocacy brief outlines how UHC can be achieved and what is needed to make health services made available to everyone, patricularly the poorest and most vulnerable. It discusses how there is no one-size-fits-all health system and stresses the importance of donors working closely with governments to build health systems that are people-centred.
