Perennial malaria chemoprevention (PMC) is an effective method to prevent malaria in early childhood. Understanding caregivers’ knowledge and practices regarding malaria prevention and treatment, and their readiness for PMC uptake, is important for scaling up this intervention. We conducted a baseline assessment to gather information on caregivers’ existing malaria knowledge and prevention practices and readiness for PMC uptake in Osun state, Nigeria.
This oral presentation was given at the Multilateral Initiative on Malaria (MIM) Society's 8th Pan-African Malaria Conference.
