The goal of universal health coverage (UHC) is that all individuals and communities can enjoy health and well-being without facing financial hardship when accessing healthcare services. UHC has always been an important consideration in our work and is a central theme in our 2021–2025 strategy, which draws on our understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals and prioritises health sector and community resilience to achieve UHC.
