To accelerate the reduction of the malaria burden in Mozambique, a functional and responsive surveillance system is needed to provide the necessary evidence to identify bottlenecks and target interventions more efficiently. This learning brief explores the general surveillance strengthening activities carried out during the first year of implementation of the three-year project Strengthening Malaria Surveillance for Data-driven Decision-making in Mozambique.
