Strengthening community-based malaria prevention and surveillance interventions is a three-year project funded by the James Percy Foundation. Radio messaging, school clubs and community dialogues have been integral to achieving sustained behaviour change and reduced incidence of malaria. The project has sought to ensure these messages are accessible to all members of the community, including those whose first language is different from the majority of Ethiopians.
