Resources: Project brief
We made technological adaptations to Mozambique's existing upSCALE digital platform to support health workers' ability to respond to the pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many malaria-endemic countries, including Mozambique. The country's community health workers, known locally as agentes polivalentes elementares (APEs), provide basic healthcare and conduct health promotion activities in the remote areas in which they live. This project sought to make technological adaptations to Mozambique's existing upSCALE digital platform to support APEs' ability to respond to the pandemic.
