Antenatal care and the prevention of malaria related deaths in mothers and their unborn children

This film looks at an initiative in Uganda to protect pregnant mothers from malaria through routine distribution of nets via antenatal care centres. This involves the distribution of nets, intermittent preventive treatement against malaria during pregnancy and awareness raising about the disease and how mothers can protect themselves and their newborns.
