In the northern Mozambique provinces of Nampula and Niassa, the Malaria Prevention and Control project has trained community volunteers on essential malaria treatment and control practices and messaging. This short video provides a snapshot of how this knowledge is then communicated in communities. This intervention was implemented between 2011 and 2017 with funding provided by the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. It was delivered in partnership with World Vision, the principal recipient, with Malaria Consortium as sub-recipient for the provinces of Nampula and Niassa and in close coordination with the National Malaria Control Programme.
