Malaria Consortium worked with Myanmar's National Malaria Control Programme, Child Health and Nutrition Divisions and Kalay, Pinlebu and Banmauk townships to introduce integrated community case management (iCCM) through the country's volunteer network. This VOX Voices of Experience interview is with the Deputy District Medical Officer, Kalay district, who talks about how Malaria Volunteers now trained in iCCM are delivering better care to children from remote communities, diagnosing and treating for pneumonia and diarrhoea as well as malaria.
