Malaria Consortium, in collaboration with Medicine for Malaria Ventures and the Government of Nigeria, implemented the UNITAID-funded Improving Severe Malaria Outcomes project to reduce mortality from severe malaria through accelerating the global adoption of injectable artesunate. This case study highlights some of the success stories from three states in Nigeria.
