Using social and behaviour change communication to create demand for mosquito nets in the private sector

Publication Date:
08/02/2016
Type:
Presentation

This presentation was given at the first International Summit on Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) in February 2016. It discusses the results of a three-year project implemented by Malaria Consortium in Uganda to create a ‘malaria control culture' by developing routine long lasting insecticidal net (LLIN) distribution channels through antenatal care services and schools, and by enhancing community demand for LLINs through public and private sectors.
