A pandemia do COVID-19 afectou muitos países endêmicos da malária, incluindo alguns dos mais sobrecarregados, como Moçambique. Os trabalhadores comunitários de saúde, conhecidos localmente como agentes polivalentes elementares (APEs), são treinados para fornecer cuidados básicos de saúde e realizar actividades de promoção da saúde nas áreas
remotas em que vivem. Este projecto tem como objectivo fazer as adaptações tecnológicas à plataforma digital upSCALE existente para apoiar a capacidade dos APEs de responder à pandemia.
