Since 2016, USAID’s Malaria Action Program for Districts (MAPD) has been working with the key influencers to reduce the malaria burden in Uganda. Ernest, a volunteer community health worker and key influencer from Rutoke village, is promoting essential malaria prevention and control behaviors. He is creating sustainable change from within his community and district by working with local and district leaders to find solutions to common health issues. Read more about his story.
