Seasonal malaria chemoprevention: An innovative strategy to reduce malaria morbidity and mortality

This presentation, given during the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Malaria & Neglected Tropical Diseases event, Focus on the Democratic Republic of Congo & Nigeria – “Innovation and Action” in those countries, on 06 May 2014, discusses Malaria Consortium’s seasonal malaria control prevention (SMC) in Nigeria. It presents research evidence to support effectiveness of SMC as well as future scale-up plans.
