19 April 2011 London, 19 April 2011: Malaria Consortium’s new film is short but sweet. It may start with the appalling numbers of children who die from the disease, but it also tells another story – one that shows it is not all bad news.
We hope this film will show that sometimes we need to look beyond the shocking statistics to the great work Malaria Consortium and others are doing to not only beat this disease but also bring about long lasting solutions.
Malaria Consortium is dedicated to controlling malaria and other communicable diseases through community interventions, continued education and innovative research for long-lasting change.
We hope this short film will showcase a small part of our work on the ground and will motivate people to act this World Malaria Day. If you would like to get involved, please visit our Support Us page.
